Hi everyone. I used to have 2 W116s, but sold them both a few years ago, leaving me with just my trusty R107. I found an old 116 fuel tank in my collection and wondering what I should do with it. I see a few on eBay asking for huge dollars, and I assume these may be hard to find.

This one looks dirty but strong , but the fill and vent pipes were cut off when it was removed from its original host.

Thoughts on this thing?

Thanks.

With the pipes cut of it is not really worth anything.
What does the inside look like?
Not sure what it looks like inside - i guess I could take off the sender unit and peek in there. Been sitting a long time so I suspect it's not great in there. Maybe i should just toss it out.
