It looks to be in good condition, but seems a bit pricy for 164,000 miles.

The vacuum locks don't work, cruise control isn't hooked up...

Was hoping for something a little more constructive lol.

CC isn't a big deal to me, and the locks could be an easy fix. Agreed that the price is up there though.

Heavily worn out car missing maintenance although clayed and polished to present well.

I would rather see a total mess rather than see good eye wash. Be sure to examine the entire drive train paying careful attention to the CV joints, differential and output shafts. Check the rear wheel bearings and suspension bushings. I would also check the motor for correct starting, idling and stopping.

The cracked dash may be hiding a ruined climate control system. The defective cruise control may involve an expensive part.

Ehhhh, if it were a turbo it would be pretty rare. The seat features are pretty rare to see here in the US. If you were going to spend $5000 or more on it you'd have to consider what else you can get in that price range. The manual transmission / diesel combo sells me on it as long as that reserve isn't much higher than what the price is now. I think anything higher than $4500 is too much.

Agreed, about the only thing attractive to me is the trans/engine combo. I haven't checked the bids, but I can see potential ghost bidding being done, because most people in their right minds would realize this car isn't worth the price it's trying to fetch. Ironically, it's probably the best looking car I've seen for sale locally.

Try and see if you can see it in person before you bid.

Then you can see if it actually is a gem before dishing out that kind of money.

Not in a big hurry. I'll give them a call tomorrow.
