Pristine 1995 s500 coupe--$8,250. Received from family member in Oregon in Sept 2013 and driven to central Texas. Only two owners: my aunt and myself. Can't imagine a cleaner one on the market! Has an aftermarket radio but I have the original and original cell phone.

Common and practical. Why do yo want/need to know the plate number?

I didn't say I want/need to know it, I mentioned it's still shown.
I was just trying to understand the point of hiding the numbers even though any car could be seen in the streets with the numbers exposed to the public.
It's so that if malicious people were browsing benzworld see the car in the street and see that the particular car was spoken about on the forum they may want to take it or things from it of vested interest. Wouldn't want some jerk prying open my trunk because of my Amp or what not
Happens a lot more here in queens, NYC where craigslist makes you a bullseye. They target the rims more.
