Hello all, I would really like to see my "old girl" go to a good home at a good price. If interested, follow the link below:

All documentation since 1976 has been saved. I own a big folder with all the receipts, original metal stamp from West Germany, original tool kit, etc. . I am the third owner. Car has a great documented history along with it. For a complete summary of all new parts, please see the link below:

I am considering offers, but keep it righteous. Some would think I was crazy for investing all I have into this car, others would give me a high five. Either way, at $7,000-- I consider this 240D worth every penny.

Any questions, fill free to email, thank you.

Hey guys, I appreciate the "wows!" Cheers!

My "old girl" is still for sale. If you live outside of California, I have no problem helping the buyer out on shipping. Feel free to email if you'd like to see more photos of interior, engine compartment, or exterior blemishes.

Thank you all!

You might also contact the Classic Center in Irvine to test interest. As a rule most of these were not preserved at all. This one looks to be the exception.

Thanks Ed,

I just finished looking at the Classic Center in Irvine web's site and it seems like they really do an amazing full restoration by replacing, rebuilding, and rejuvenating the original charisma of the vehicle... I guess when you have Mercedes-Benz backing you, pretty much anything is possible to achieve.

I'll send them an email and a few photos and hope for the best. I would love to see my 240D after a full restoration,

Keep up the good work everybody,

They have a green 1958 190D for sale. $136,000! Quite a story too. Every new part available in stock was put on this car. It was shown at Pebble Beach and Amelia Island shows.
