There are several different styles of 18" monoblocks. If you don't know which style you have, a picture of two would give everyone a basic clue.
There should be a sticky on how to advertize wheels for sale. As the previous poster noted, wheels have THREE (3) sizes, and you need to know what all three measurements are to decide if a wheel will fit a certain car or not.
Look on the back of the wheels, all AMG wheels are marked, usually by a raised number (cast into the wheel). It will look like this example
The inclusion of those 3 numbers along with some pictures will make your ad understandable by most....
AMG Monoblocks are commonly refered too by roman numerals
AMG I alloy wheels - 5 spoke
AMG II alloy wheels - 5 holes
AMG III alloy wheels - 5 thinner spokes
AMG IV alloy wheels - 5 twin spokes
AMG V alloy wheels - 14/16/22 spokes
AMG VI alloy wheels - 5 spokes with central channels
All of the above different type monoblocks can be had in 18" diameter...
Also, many 18" wheel sets are sold as a staggered set, meaning the rear wheels will be wider and have a different offset as well. So it's important to say if the wheels are staggered or not, and if so you need to publish the sizes of the front and the rear.
Here are two examples of an ad thats gives the viewer all the basic info;
NON-STAGGERED ad example:
Non-staggered AMG monoblock II wheel set for sale, 8J x 18H2 et30; excellent condition, pictures attached, located in Kanas
Staggered ad example:
Staggered AMG Monoblock V wheel set for sale;
fronts = 8.5J x 18H2 et35
Rears = 9.5J x 18H2 et30
minor rash on two wheels, see pictures, located in Texas
With a brief description of condition, pictures and where the wheels are located, and your ad is complete.
Putting an asking price in the ad also gives buyers a basic idea if what you are selling is within normal price ranges, and if they can afford them. A lot of members (potential buyers), here seem to want the price included, and thats understandable as the last person to talk price numbers has the advantage, so all buyers want seller to go first, including me, lol. Either way you should know what the going price range is and what your willing to sell them for, even if you don't post it. glws
