Hi there,

I am looking for the right fog light for my AMG front bumper. Do you have an idea where I can find it? The part number is HWA 140-820-08-56

Thanks in advance

Regards

Tico

Use fog lights from a pre-facelift E30 BMW. Same fog light and that is what I used for mine. Expect to pay $80-$150 for a set though....

If it's for a GEN I bumper then use the 145MM x 86MM Bosch Pilot 150 halogen driving lamp p/n 0 306 407 101-730 which is still available at $120 +/- per set.

It's not a GEN I..
Pic not that clear but it looks like GEN II ...

I looked up the HWA numbers that you posted and they are GEN II.

THe W124 lights are driving lights but you should be able to use the fog lights from the W202 and R129 with the AMG Sport front bumper.
Also if you can find a set from an E36, C36 or C43....

This is a photo I just took. I had a little accident (I hit a cat) and now I am repairing the bumper. Is it a AMG GEN II? If so, where can I buy the fog lights?

Thanks in advance for your help

It's a GEN II, but as D W124 responded the W124 used a driving light beam where the W202 which will fit uses a fog beam....!

That is the same and looks very cheap for a new one.See if he has the pair as one might look older than the other
My bumper was damaged at the same place and many people told me was beyond repair
This is how it looks now

Inquiring minds want to know why a W202 owner is asking questions in a W124 forum.

Others would suspect better quality answers in, oh, say, a W202 forum.

And newbie, fill in your profile and you wn't get W124 answers that don't apply...

Glad to here it - this was confusing me - maybe there's overlap I don't know about - but that wide grille in post 4 saying 'this is the bumper' just didn't look right.

You need to reread all the initial posts....
The W202 along with the R129 was mentioned as some models share the same fog lights with those used in the face lift GEN II 124 AMG bumpers.

Hi dw24,

Sorry to bother again but I have not had much luck finding the light. You said, that you would try to find one, did you have luck?

I asked a guy from Starpartz and he told that HWA 140-820-08-56 is different than
A 140-820-08-56. This is the only place where I found something similar

Thanks in advance

I am of the same opinion but that was what the guy told me in a short answer: "Hi,sorry this is not compatible, thanks"

A new light would be great.

Thanks dw124
