Hi friends
My 2004 clk 320 w209 fob is not locking and unlocking or in other words it’s not responding, I can only start the car with the car. The fuse is ok and there is no other issue, I lock and unlock it with the metal key. Car anyone help, thanks

Have you put new batteries in the key ? CR2025.

Yes, sir I replaced the batteries and also got the fob checked if it has an issue but nothing, all the fuses r ok too

In the beginning it was like the fuse was not ok or it had some issues like when I take out the fuse and put back the remote is locking and unlocking the car but after some hours it’s not again I take out the fuse and put it back then again it worked but since 3 weeks also this thing is also not working

Do u think it has connection to the anti theft siren but since I bought the car the siren is not working

Just remembered the clock is also showing different time now and Japan spec clk does not have and place to adjust the time. Sorry I forgot to mention that the car was brought from Japan.

Ensure that the car main battery is very strong and all connections are good and clean.
Does it work better if you hold the key close to the door handle ?
Your problem could be caused by a bad Keyless Antenna Module ,,but that is only a guess.
Clock is a separate issue.
Siren is probably a separate issue.

Thanks man I have checked the battery with a multimeter and it’s showing 12.87 and I also checked the fob batteries that also show good but last night the weather was humid, and I suddenly pressed the fob lock button and it worked so I tried several more times it’s was ok but this morning it’s not opening the doors
