The sleeves stay. Either drop the driveshaft (mark all mounting points to maintain driveshaft alignment) or use a crowbar to push the driveshaft forward just enough to R&R the flex disc.

Ya today I decided forget it, maybe next summer. Exhaust is on its way out, will remove exhaust then driveshaft and replace both disks and center bearing if not too tough. I wonder what full exhaust would cost? I'm afraid to ask

Having just replaced both flex joints last week I'd say doing both and the carrier bearing at the same time is easier.

As for the exhaust, last year I has a local shop do a complete custom system. Price was $389 and that included 2 1/4" pipe with a resonator and muffler. Totally new system, no old pieces were retained / reused.
