Hi,

Yesterday I had a flat tire on my C series (C 63). Big nail with plastic coating was inserted into the tire while I was driving on the highway at 210Km/hr.
The tire was fixed with a plug (the hole was right in the center of the tread). The tire was originally filled with Nitrogen but, now it is filled with air.
Now, here is the question that I have, I get a message: “Restart after checking the pressure”. This is new to me, I have never seen this message before and, I had quite flat tires with my S 55 and this message never appeared. What does it mean, as it puzzles me…..

Thank you,

Luc

It's part of the TPMS, so I'd check the manual. You probably have to check it through the cluster and then restart and it will clear.

Good luck.
