Are there any conversions necessary to install Euro Gen 2 front and back bumpers to a -89 Gen 2 US Spec 560SEL, or are the bolt holes the same, i.e. is it "plug and play"?

Installation is the same way as any other bumper. Rear requires no modification. The front requires the horizontal o-ring from the tow hook to be cut off as it protrudes and prevents the cover from closing.

Many thanks. Just needed to get that straight before the installation process starts at the end of this week...

I would cut the US tow hook, flat round portion and the two legs welded on either side of the standard Euro tow hook that it is welded to, off. An grinder is good to use. That way the tow hook you have left is the standard Euro tow hook. A bit more work, but very nice in the end.

BTW Glad you got your Gen II Sedan Bumpers.

Yes, after seeing ElRojo's Gen 2 Euro bumpers on his car, there was no going back, and with that, the search started.
It just looks... right. :D

Yes, and the seller seems to be a really good person to deal with too.
