Hi,
I've ordered this new kit from US ebay.

"Mercedes Rear Control Arms W201 W124 W202 W129 W208 E55
8 Piece Full Rear Control Arm Kit -Guaranteed Quality "

I presume I'm going to need to get new bolts from the dealer when I come to fit the arms. Will I need to specify part numbers or if I take the kit in will they know what to supply ?

PS any tips/hints on fitting very welcome

Cheers

Nick

Gents, in my humble opinion run away from these kits on Ebay. They are inferior off-brand parts. I too got sucked into purchasing one of these kits and had to fight tooth and nail to return and get my money back. They feel like they are made of CHEAP plastic and are made from some no-name manufacture in China. Spend the extra $50-60 and get the Lemfoerder or Meyles ones from a reputable auto part house.

Pay a little more for the Lemforder. Meyle, although a "German" company has their parts made in India, China and Turkey. The German designers beef up some of the characteristically 'troubled' areas of OE parts, but that doesn't change where they are made. The neon boy racer, BMW crowd are not generally pleased with how Meyle suspension parts are wearing/holding up.

I got the full Meyle kit from with bolts and nuts also. I do not have experience with any other kit than this, but I would say lemforder is probably better. Meyle seemed good and will prolly last a while, and I have had no problems, but I bet lemforder is better.

That's my thinking...if you're on a limited budget and drive moderately, Meyle will probably do. If however, you are an extreme driver and/or do many runs over a 100mph, pony up the extra and buy Lemforder.
