I don't think a Blaupunkt unit can be hooked to the D2B fiber optic network. You might try a Becker Audio 30 APS.

The optical network is only used for the CD changer, telephone, and head unit communication. If you don't have the phone or changer, you can easily change out the head unit for a different one. You will, however, lose steering wheel controls, since the stock head unit communicates with the dashboard computer using CANbus. <br> <br>

Go with the Audio-30 APS ..

Hi,<br> <br> I put an Audio-30 APS into my SL (where I put in the fibre-optic wiring, CD changer and phone stuff, as UK cars arent pre-wired with the fibre-optics and extra looms). <br> <br> All of Europe is on one CD. I dont know if there are US CD's<br> <br> Rihcard
