Yes folks, I have my first windshield suicide of the year.

Driving season has officially begun.

Look out bugs.

Well, that was short lived. It's freezing here again. I am about 1000 miles behind last years tally.

Great week gone to hell

Same here - escaped from the patient for an hour and took a drive down to see if they put the mast up on the boat yet. Had to open the hood and turn on the secondary heater valve again. I just closed it last week. However, in the true spirit of Benz World, I went wdtd. Just blasted on the heat. Short summer spurt. Cold and rainy for the next few.

Well I was my own first victim this year. I won't be able to drive the 280sl with the stick which sucks. I broke two bones in my left foot and to top it off it's been in the 80s and is 90 today. :crybaby2: 6-8 weeks with a cast sucks, you don't what a pain in the but is to even get dressed ( because you can't get your can't through).:(

Sorry to hear that, Jody. I shattered everything in my left leg years ago and showers were a royal pain. On the other hand, it was kind of cool when I got really good with the crutches and could depress the clutch with the crutch. At least it's your left foot.

Jody, Jody, Jody.

When the guests get out of hand, plant the left foot firmly on the ground and the right foot firmly up their bums. Sounds like you got it backwards.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. To answer Dave's question I didn't get my pants on, so it's been shorts. Now I have to get a new bikini to match my cast. To answer Hal, no gaters were hurt when I broke it. I broke it trying to get to my 10 year old who was having a night terror and panic attack. After I got him calmed down I drove myself to the er.

How did you do that and keep a hand on the wheel? I'm so pitiful on these crutches, I knocked a display down at the store yesterday. Any advice on how not to get bruises from the tops of the crutches?
