W202 C280 First the fuel pump next the Transmission...PLEASE HELP

I am new here and this is my first post. I have browsed around the threads the past few months and have to say many of you here seem to know a thing or two about benzs....so with that being said I was hoping that someone could help me out since I am stuck in some really sticky car trouble..:crybaby2:
****************CAR INTRODUCTION*************************
First let me tell you about my car, It is a W202 1996 C280 100k. I have owned it for 2 years now and have done some extensive custom work on it. She is Gun metallic grey with a blacked out grill*also in gun metallic*and I have a sports suspension kit on her which has her sitting about 7cm of the ground. Tucked nicely under her fender are 19 inch triple chrome Lorinser wheels with low profile tires. For the lights she has smoked LED tail lights with a HID license plate light.Also clear head lights with strobe lights in the front headlights and the tail lights. It has about 5 different strobe settings. The switch is located on the dash just near the headlights switch. I also have a rear view camera in the back which is linked to a rear view monitor mirror. I also have monitors in the headrests 7inchs,sun visor 12.2 inch wide,dash 7inch.etc. There is a total of 7 monitors in the car.And yes the stereo bumps.:thumbsup: DVD,NAVI,ipod ready,usb reader,memory card reader,ETC....and that about covers the custom work.......

:crybaby2: Since I have had the car I have taken care of her like a baby...oil changes,washing,driving carefully...etc......Then out of the blue I start having some trouble with the idling, because my car is customized, a Benz dealer will not check my car. Oh! I forgot to mention that I am located in Japan and they have strict laws when it comes to owning a custom car...but thats another story...So I had to take my car to a guy who had to go through another guy to get my car looked at. He tells me they used the computer to check out the car and the only problem they found is that I need a new fuel pump. So I said ok lets change it and get my baby back to me. Though it cost $1,200 to fix it I really had no choice. But this is where things take a wicked spin for the worst! The guy calls me and tells me my car is ready, so I go check my car...it starts and the idling sounds fine. So I pay him and off I go. I drive about 2 kilometers *mind you this is a few minutes after I left* stop at a red light...the light turns green and I hit the accelerator and what do I get.....rrrrmmmm rrrrmmmm MY CAR WILL NOT MOVE...I am like WTF!!! So iI turn off the car and turn it on again but still nothing the car will not move. I check the other gears and the only gear that works is REVERSE....There goes my tranny....now where I am puzzled is that I never had any trouble with my transmission before..no slipping,no noises...nothing. On top of that when they took my car in and used the computer to check my car they said the only problem was the fuel pump which I paid for a few minutes before the tranny went....Some luck huh?
So how could my tranny just go? Did those guy do some shaddy sh*t? Could it possibly be some electonical problem that made the tranny go STOP? Why does reverse still work? I am not to knowledgeable with the mechanics of cars but I really need any advice as to what you guys might think the problem is and any soulution to fix it would be great. Since I dont trust anyone out here ...I mean it might be something as small as a part that cost $20.00...I dont know...but everyone out here says $3,000 to $6,000 to fix...I am broke and cant afford it...All my money is sitting in all that custom work...:crybaby2: If anyone could help I would be :bowdown:greatful. Also I do appreciate anyone who took out the time to read this long post.
