I have an FGS module from FGSSwitch, I like the fact that I can program my shift points and having it wired into the E/S switch sure helps when it rains like it usually does here.

Yes! The shift points make a huge difference. The factory MB module is set to downshift at 7mph, Unadjustable.

You may not have the E/S switch on your shift gate, I believe it's Euro-model specific.

the MB module uses a plug n play harness

Give the module # to a MB dealer, and have them check stock for the corresponding small harness for it from the parts diagram, about USD$35... there were a slim few iharnesses n US stock last time I had my dealer check... it plugs into the module then at 2 plugs and one ground in the car existing harness...worst case harness is 2 week delivery thru MS NA from MB-Euro special order...

MB NA stocked the harness in the event of repairs to Euro 126 imports...

The OE MB module new/replacement is pricey, and I do not think US dealer can order due to EPA shit - can be bought new/replacement in Euro from MB, still pricey.

Used module can be pulled from Euro 126's at wrecker yards if/when you find them, could pull the small harness too once you see where it hooks in.

Plug and play man, best way to go...

My dealer does not think that i can use the harness that it will not plug into my car ??? my fgs came w/ 1/2 harness , dealer said he could get me the plugs for other end. Not sure where it plugs into ? what i need ?

I believe Talbir laid out the wiring for FGS some time ago.. A few minutes w/ the search function should dig it up.
