In the time it took for this thread to run it's course, the 69 degree temperatures Silver Lana celebrated here in the northeast US have turned into 18 degrees, windy, icy and snowy. Man, what a difference a day makes! It's hard to believe I was driving around most of the day yesterday with the top down, no airscarf and no seat heaters! Damn, where the hell is spring?
Anyway, a funny thing happened yesterday. I went to a tag agency(for licenses, registrations, etc.) and the little lot was pretty full. Petrified of a ding I parked across the street at an audio store. I was doing my business and I peeked out and saw some guy walking around my car. He stopped at the back and I thought "Christ, he's taking my plate number!". I was sure he was going to call the cops or something(the parking was supposed to be for that store only). I nervously paced while I was waiting for my stuff to be processed and I look out and see THREE guys around my car. I went into panic mode and walked out the front door and yelled "Do you need me to move it. I didn't know I couldn't park there!" One of the guys looked over and said "It's O.K. We were just checking out your car. That is one nice ride!" I responded "I THINK SO TOO!"
