upload them to gallery it will make it easier on us.. and those links are fucked anyways..
Gujurati: nice car! I saw you late last week near the McDonalds by UTC. I was in the silver 430 convertible. Your wheels are hot. Are you going to leave your hood off-color like that?

I'm also on Towne Centre so I'm sure I'll be seeing more of you around.

I agree.,..,

leaving the hood like this seems odd...
i think itll look good with blacked out grill and hood emblem delete
It would be "interesting" with a carbon roof and trunk as well. I do somewhat like the diversity of the set-up. B- from me for creativity. [;)]
Thanks for all your comments. I am changing the spring pads in the front to a #1 or #2. The hood is staying but I am getting the sports grill powder coated black and the AMG hood emblem. I am also looking into getting a carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon fiber roof wing and a carbon fiber wing. If you guys know where to source these parts please let me know.

I also have all the stock parts for my car available if anybody is interested. Here is the list:

-17" AMG monoblock wheels (need new back tires)
-Bilstein (stock shocks for clk55 AMG version)
-stock springs (I think they are eibach)
-stock hood, excellent condition (silver)
-alpine soundsystem custom made to fit the clk trunk (2 alpine m300 amps, 2 alpine 12" type r subs, 2 1.0 farad caps, and a beauty board custom made for the clk trunk)

if anyones interested in any of these items please send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you pictures and the price

Thanks

I think a black car with a carbon fiber hood would be the perfect offset but with less contrast. Nice and subtle.
those 19's probably offset any weight savings by the cf hood.
what w208 models will my stock suspension fit???
The springs will only work on a 55. The shocks will work on any 208 CLK.

I also think the dark hood looks weird (ricey/out of place). It would look better on a dark car, silver c/f would be the way to go if you're putting it on a silver car (unless you paint it silver, of course). At this point, you need to get a c/f trunk and roof wing, and paint your roof black if you hope to tie it in at all.
RICE! RICE! RICE! The hood that is...Everything else is hot [:D]
Your CLK55 Looks very nice. I read that you took out your resonator and wanted to know if you noticed a loss of power. I have a 2001 CLK55 and I just removed the resonator also and it seems like it lost some power to me. Did you have the car dino tested before and after by any chance? Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks.
I didn't dyno my car and regret it, but I noticed/read that there could be some low end torque loss but gains at higher rpm's. That makes sense and seems like thats whats happened.

I think you should get rid of the green pine tree air freshener. A naked lady one would be much classier, but that's just my opinion.

hang it on your signal control. It seems to last longer there too.
