Hi everyone

Got new set of wheels from 2005 CLK and fitted the front with the latest summer tyres from Continental ContiSportContact3 205/50 on 16 inch/7.5 wheels and Rear with 225/50 on 16 inch/8.5 wheels. My 1987 car now feels 20 years younger. The ride are still soft and quiet like my old 195/65 R15 but it rides and accelerate round tight corners like a coupe.

Too early to say about the durability and wet handling at speed. I will give you guys an update soon.

Thanks.. took me 3 years to get to this.

Final 3 jobs will be redoing the nickel chrome plating on the roof rails, fitting new leather on all seats and lowering the car by 30mm using Vogtland springs.
