After a very protracted legal battle, involving me, a former landlord, my company, the court bailiffs, and sevaral attorneys, I have my car back after a year! 
She is absolutely filthy, and in terrible condition though. Even so, we connected the battery (which was completely flat - 1.5V flat), connected up a second car to jumpstart her, and she started right on the button.
Now, the brakes are faded, 1 tyre is completely destroyed, and 1 developed a slow leak, and the exaust is full of rusted holes. Having said that, she still pulls strong, and the oil pressure builds up perfectly. Gonna start working on her by the weekend or so.
