What do you think of the FIA/Max Mosley plan to freeze all F-1 engine development for three years after the 2007 season? Horst K

I agree, they are even talking of a 5 year freeze now. I saw Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme race on the old Nuerburgring at the age of 10 and have been a F-1 fan ever since. Mosley will turn the pinnacle of automotive technology into a mediocre shadow of it's former self. I just can't get into the oval thing, otherwise I would Indy and Champ car more (why the heck are there two?). I also agree with your A 1 comment and last years U.S. GP was a disgrace never seen before in F-1. GP 2 was certainly exiting with some great new talent. Anyhow, we'll see. Cheerio, Horst K
P.S. Check out Keith's Nuerburgring Nordschleife, it's in English.
Not enough lead time to get the V8 engines fully developed as can be seen from all the blow up's. Also, the last part of qualifying with most cars circulating just to burn fuel does not make sense to me. At least we got some young talented drivers with Rosberg and Speed. Kovalainen deserved a shot at racing too. Cheerio, Horst K
I hope the FIA wakes up and limits/regulates the fuel in third phase qualifying.
Well, his Father Sir Max Mosley was infamous for quite different endeavors.
