Hi..
After driving 10-15 mins. the "faulty bulb" light comes on. So, i stop. Gets out of the car. Then i run around and check all the lights, even back up to a window so i can check the brake and reverse lights. All lights including fog/curve,rear fog works.

What could be the problem...?

Maybe they fixed it the scientific way and removed the light bulb from your dash so it wont stay on!

LOL

Owner of 98 SLK with the same problem here, but there is good news...some nice person recently posted a the toothpick fix with the tail lights, which I have now done to all those colored plastic plugs in the tail light housing, and no more problem. I think that the problem was occasional poor connection and this cheap little fix solved the problem. So you may want to give it a try.[:)][:)]

Thanks to the person who previously posted the toothpick fix...your idea worked great!
