Over 20 years ago I had opportunity to be on German junk yard.
After wrecker brought a Mercedes -they dropped it on the ground, the junk yard person got behind the wheel, started the engine and backed it up to the fence wall SPINNING WHEELS ALL THE WAY.
Germans at least used to pay lot of attention to cosmetics. There was no way they would drive a car with dent. 4-5 years old car after fended bender was junked.
