Hello all,

I am thinking of buying 2012 C300 4matic.
A dealership nearby offered me $43,762 as an OTD for a vehicle with the following options.. What do you think is a fair price for this vehicle? Or, how much do you think I can get a break on this one.
Any inputs will be appreciated.

2012 C300W4 $38,020
- Arctic White
- Almond MB-Tex
- P01 Premium I Package: SiriusXM Satellit $2,500
- 17" 5-Twin-Spoke Wheels
- S32 COMAND Single Disc Package: 7.0" Hig $930
- Wheel Locking bolts $140
- Rear Deck Spoiler $300
- Sport Sedan: Sport Body Styling, Me
- Panorama Sunroof $1,090
- Burl Walnut Wood Trim $325
SUBTOTAL $43,305

I ran into a car statistics web site about half a year ago (unfortunately, I didn't save the address). It shows the typical purchase price for up-scale luxury cars.

I only remember the numbers for MB C class and BMW 3-series. 5% of the total MSRP is about the average purchase price. An 8% off is considered as a very good price. I got a 2012 C300 luxury at $39.8K (MSRP of $43,455), a 8.4% off. The 39.8K is before tax and document fees, but includes the destination charge. But I guess this really depends on country and location. I am in NJ, USA.

Hope this helps.

Not knowing state in the US (and local sales tax rate, registration fees), it's difficult to know the true discount on this deal.
