I'm not getting any sound out of the right side speakers. My mechanic just told me that the fader switch looked OK. When I move the fader switch back and forth - I do get static sounds out of the right side speakers. Is this most likely a radio problem?

Should I take the car to a car audio specialist?

Is it possible to get an OEM replacement radio for the 1992 190E?

Same here

My 1992 190E has the exact same problem. It is the radio. If I 'play' with the volume knob I can get the other speakers to 'come on' at higher volumes, but the loud static is very anoying. You can get an OEM radio on Ebay, but it will still be more expensive than a non-OEM name brand car stereo.
