I just purchased a 2006 CLS500.
My dealer offered me some kind of goofy propriatary Maintenace Plan that was like a gold, platinum, or standard.
It had NOTHING to do with Mercedes.
I called the 800 Mercedes number and after MUCH discussion they mailed me a two year old brochure that didn't even list the CLS class in it's Maintenance or Maintenance Plus plan.
What's going on, I can't seem to get any answers.
Does Mercedes offer a Maintenance Plan?
If so how do you find out information on this secret program?

The "plan" for your maintenance is in a book with your owner's manual.

If you sign up with "owners online" at www.mbusa.com you can download a pdf copy. (Owners manual, too.)

Mercedes no longer offers free maintenance on new cars.

Dealer is in essence trying to get you to prepay for normal maintenance. Notice I said normal, because anything not normal is going to be covered by warranty in any event. This "plan" is a dealer--not MBUSA--thing.

If you put the same amount in a savings account, when it comes time to withdraw to pay for normal maintenance, you--not your dealer--will have earned the interest.

Kent,
I'm trying to find out if Mercedes offers a PAID Maintenance plan.
As I said, they sent me a two year old brochure with paid plans in them but they did not list the CLS.
As this is my third Mercedes since 2000 I am painfully aware that they no longer provide it for free.
I'm trying to buy one.
