A little while ago I recovered the lower speaker grills in new fabric Today I Did the upper grill which is a bit more involved so I took a few shots for future reference. After taking off the door card I used a soldering iron to melt off the plastic rivets, there are also 2 screws. All pretty straight forward. Refitting I used a hot glue gun to secure over the old rivets. I also took a shot of the bulb holder for the seat adjuster illumination incase anyone wants info. Very happy with the result. I also took time to give the whole card a steam clean which worked wonders

nice job (y) my next task when the fabric arrives, what glue did you use?
For the upper, I used spray contact adhesive, the lower ones I did a while back, and used white Elmer's glue.. If I did them again I would just use the spray contact as it speeds things up.
