UPS is ripping you off at $8 shipping. Plus with UPS you never know if it will arrive nor what the condition will be.
You can send the thing for ~$3 through the USPS. Or through FedEx for less than $8.

]From what I've read here, the SL anntenna is for the phone only, as the radio antenna is in the glass. I have the SL top part attached to my SLK base, and it works fine. That was what I was going to do also, buy the SL lower part to match the paint. I think what LarryK is asking is what does the connector on the SL base look like? Will our antenna connection fit onto the SL base or is it different since the SL Antenna is really for phone not radio? Does any one have the SL base on their SLK? The lower half looks rubber on my 01 320, while the upper half is a painted black. The two colors contrast (even with some conditioner on the rubber) and I don't think it would be wise to paint the rubber? I believe the SL's lower half is plastic.
