I was wondering if anybody has ever seen the G500 or 55 in the expresso edition with the light brown interior. It says that it's an option on the MBUSA website, but I have never seen it before on any of the trucks.

custom interiors...

I'm a little off topic here... How much is the interior upgrade to espresso? The reason i ask, is because i heard from an australian once that many people buy the nicest models with stripped interiors because it's cheaper or not much more to go full custom inside. My point being, you might be able to brake even or even save money by having it don't custom. WHen the leather on my pathfinder finally gave out, i went 2-tone to match the 2-tone interior and it turned out very nicely. If/when my leather goes bad on the G, i might go medium gray on the center seat surfaces since it's all black now.

The option is a little over 5k, but I believe that it also includes different wood and exterior paint. I could care less about the better paints and woods I just really like that light brown seats.

Hate to keep bringing up the MBUSA website, but one just sold on there a week ago, and there were pics of it on the site. It was priced like all the others. I have been told they have no price benefit at resale, but it did sell faster then many.

It is very very similar to that dutch. The wood is a little darker I think, being Maple. The seats are also all one colour and not a two-tone.

You can see what it looks like in the e-brochure on the mbusa site.

If those seats are as dark as they look..that would be one beautiful Gwagen. I have yet to ever see one anywhere.

Personal taste...I really like the color of the leather. I bet there are only a handful out there..since its not worth the extra coin , but I would buy one if I found it used with no premium.
