I am looking at buying a 1 year old GL320 in may/june 2008.What savings would I expect vs. a new 2008 model.

I am in canada.

The way it's going, looks like several of us will be buying '07's in '08 with NO savings!

I think other big concerns would also be 1. How rare they are now, and 2. Most clients get diesels for their longevity, probably going to have slim pickin's....

saving on a new 07 vs a new 08 will not be a huge amount. Mercedes never does rebates like GM, nissan, ford ect... I mean right now nissan has 2500 back on 08 models that are not even at the dealers yet...

Now buying a used 07 vs a new 08 you should save $20K or more.

I bought my G500 in november of 02 ( its a 02) with 6k miles on it and saved about $21K.... the more benz cost the harder the hit in the fist year.

ditto on that, I got my '05 C55 AMG with 10K on it in Dec, '05 and paid 43K - ALL options ;)
