Based on the level of participation in this forum lately, I'm apparently not the only one suffering from exhaustion...

Has America reached a point where every atrocity by our prez results in apathy? Numbness?

Families torn apart and children imprisoned in concentration camps... open racism, obstruction of justice in a federal investigation, nepotism, crudeness, cruelty. Did I mention open racism by the president of the US?

Where are the demonstrations? Where are the thousands outside the WH clamoring for his resignation?

WTF happened to America?
I agree, but at this point I believe the Democrats are absolutely failing in their duty to uphold the COTUS. This lunatic should have been impeached already. No way in the WORLD a Democrat could have done 1/1000th of what Trump did and still been in office.

We have an unfit, unhinged crazy man in the White House. Then we have his political party which is complicit in his behavior, looks the other way while the courts get packed and the taxes are cut. So that left us with one party to clean up the mess....and they failed us as well. To me that may be even worse than what Trump and the "conservatives" have done.

an overwhelming blowout election will have far greater results

and worse case if the dems only hold on to the house

impeachment can begin 3/3/20-

Problem is the Dems can't put up ONE candidate with an over-riding, unique and popular manifesto to unite BOTH the Dems AND the center anti-trump vote. Right now they've put up a bunch of what are basically nobodies and no-hopers, all espousing virtually the same, semi-socialist "woke" agenda.

^^ Actually, they could, if they wanted to. Clearly, they don't want to.

Strikes me right now they couldn't agree what day of the week it is, let alone select a candidate with any real chance of winning...

Playing politics as always. Doesn't matter what's best for the country, it's what's best for MY party.

getting rid of him in 2020 is whats best for the country.

letting the courts prosecute him is whats best for the country.

we know your party will not vote to impeach so impeachment will not get rid of him-

its not difficult-

The average American doesn't give a rat's ass about anything so long as the lights stay on, there are groceries in the store, pizza is delivered, there is gas at the gas station and their TV and internet work.

40 years ago I got involved in the neighborhood organization.

What I learned is people only care about what happens in front of their own house. They couldn't give a rat's ass if the next street fell into a huge fucking pit.

Fail to see anything on your list working as it should being a problem, who wouldn't want those things to work for everyone.

People caring about what happens in front of there house is bad ? , sorry it's the AHs that don't care about what goes on in their house/yard/street that are the problem. If everyone took care of their own shit and respected others doing the same you wouldn't have to care about anything on the next street/block.

My party doesn't get a vote. Closest thing to my party sitting in those halls is Amash.

And, as lovemyc280 said, Dems are failing in their constitutional duty to impeach and they're doing it because they're playing party politics, too. Is there any dispute the Mueller report had impeachable crimes documented? Then it is clear what the right thing to do is.

Those who do not do the right thing are doing the wrong thing. By definition.

I've been saying for months to impeach the mofo already... before the Mueller's report.

The evidence came out during Cohen's trial. He admitted that under the direction of Trump the payments were clearly a violation of campaign finance laws and also guilty of federal conspiracy under a plan to deceive federal law... he was an unindicted co-conspirator.

That's enough to impeach.
