I solved the exhaust problem by going to COLE MUFFLER. After researching the issue, I found that Mercedes wants 35% more for their system and will only gurantee same for 1 year. Cole, on the other hand, instaled their system for 35% less, land guranted the mufflers for life. No buzzes/rattles etc.
My heater motor makes a chirping sound on any setting except high speed (which makes the interior seem like a wind tunnel). I expect that this is a dry bearing/shaft issue. Question is, how do I get to the shaft/bearing to lube same? Is this one of those "disassemble entire car, lubricate part, Reassemble entire car" things, or is there a workaround?
