Anyone with experience changing the manual window cranks (front primarily) with electric controls? I would like to be able to open the passenger side while driving as the basis for the question. I once had a new 240D with such a set up, like my 560SL just for the front would be a big plus.
Thanks for any ideas, suggestions or other comments.

There has been people that have done that. They said you need to poke/drill a hole in the door panel at the position of the manual regulator shaft. And of course you need all of the manual hardware.

I think it is going to be tough finding a thread/s on that unless someone directs you to it. If you are lucky there is a youtube vid on what you want.

I don't know if they still sell them but Dorman used to sell aftermarket manual window regulators.
