I have read in some other threads and seen in various pictures of 190s with EvoII kits on them that show a huge gap between the front fender and the wheel (Indra for one). This is compared to the authentic EvoII that is perfectly aligned and together. I was wondering if there was a gap on the kitted cars because the kit is bad, the body shops work was incorrect, or the front just needs to be lowered? I am thinking about getting this kit, or the EvoI if I can find it, but this worries me.

i know exactly what you mean! it's extremely rare to see a replica car with the 'correct' ride height at the front and rear.

the genuine Evolution cars were the only W201s fitted with SLS on both the front and rear, with controls inside to raise and lower the ride height.

as such, they have a unique stance that is difficult to replicate with other suspension kits. it's possible, but i imagine a fairly costly custom job.

worth it if you're building an Evolution replica from genuine MB components, maybe not as wise an investment with the Reiger Evo III kit.

The Evolution II has different front and rear suspension setups and specifications than other W201s, including the 16 valves. In addition to the front SLS system, the wheel "tubs" are different in the front, as well as the rear. Mercedes had to fit a different rear seat to accomodate the rear changes.
