Since your profile is not complete, I have no idea if the following will be free or not. In the Sticky, "This Damned Old Car", or otherwise known as the EGv107, there is a link to the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog). It is free in the US, but a cc is used to verify address (no charges apply). For ROTW, it is a nominal annual charge.Would anybody out there have the MB part # for the Evaporator (heat exchanger) temperature sensor for a 1989 560sl?

itd said:The EPC is a free service provided by MB-USA. As such they choose to limit access to those with documentation of a US address. More than a few years ago the free subscription covered only NA production cars, and the paid offering was for US residents with ROTW vehicles. That demarcation has been dropped.
You may not have liked the answer I and others gave you, but it was straight forward. If you entertain on keeping this car, and DIY much, you WILL need resources, such as the epc. And furthermore, if you are going to ask for help, the least you could do is to complete your profile so others will know what type vehicle and where in the world it might be located. Thanks for a straight forward answer!
