I just replaced the Evap temp sensor on the E430 2000 today with some help form other in the forum. I took some picture that may help a little for some one else.

Thanks for the pics. This was a great help.

A quick note for RHD drive cars (UK, Australia, South Africa etc) the temp sensor is on the drivers side not the LHS. Just to the left of the parking brake mechanism which gets in the way.

I pulled down the LHS trim and found nothing. A/C unit seems to be in LHS and RHS variants.

After doing all the work in tight space, I realized that the sensor could be reached via the "MBass" without removing any panel. The dealer would probably go thru the "MBass" to replace the sensor. Hats off to MB engineers. :bowdown:

Once your hand is inside, the sensor should be on the right side of the video with 2 wires attached to it. I measured the impedance at 69 degree F, I did some more measurement, the thermistor should cost $2 at your local electronic store.
