Have you had actual experience with purchasing new 2001 models at a discount from the MB factory stated ED price???<br>Is the Destination and Handling charge which is now about$625 included in the ED program or does the factory charge that?<br>Is duty included in the program?<br>Which major co has the best ED program for 2001?<br>[email protected]

For now there is no true savings. You might be able to save the $625, I think. I happen to be one of the last to buy with the ED program when there was a savings. That was to the end of 1999 model year. Not only was there a good savings but you might want to consider it anyway without one. The experiance, factory tour, Southern Germany and driving your car on the Autobahn was well worth it. All fees are included on the price of the car, duty, transport all the way to the dealer of your choice.<p>
