At what point were U.S. Spec R107's not delivered with European bumpers? I have read that '73 was the last year that U.S. spec R107's were supplied with European bumpers but I have seen two '73 450SL's locally here in California with U.S. spec. bumpers.

Is this a split year issue? Were U.S. Spec R107's produced in late '73 supplied with U.S. spec. bumpers?

But they all had the sealed beam headlights, if delivered to US spec.
Have a good one.
