Hello gents,

i am having rough idle/start in my euro 350sl.

during morning or cold start the motor hesitates to start or rev.

just moved into older mbz's from older bmws, this fuel injection system is new to me.

where should i look for a solution.

I see it is a 1977 350SL so presumably has K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection. Your other car (73 280 4.5) would Have D-Jetronic electronic fuel injection. Lot of write ups on bot on web, but check first in our stickies - EGV107.

I am sure others here will kick in with solutions to your K-Jet start problems.

had the car sent to the shop for timing chain and turns out it the fuel pressure accumulator and the thermo time switch.
