What is the best-fit ET rating on 17" alloys to go on a W124 300TE Wagon (1992)? Preference for tyres would be 225mm wide.

Mine are 17x8 with an offset of 28, if that helps.

is the range of offset thats available for the saloon the same as the coupe or wagon?

i.e (purely an example) say a coupe can take 19/40/55 would a wagon be able to recieve the same size wheel without mods.

ET 42 was AMG Spec for 17x7.5

ET 35 is common though and will work. Watch the rubbing though.

7.5 x 16 offset 42
