Hello all..
So i've been driving around today and i noticed that temp. Was more or less steady and didnt go up or down much. However, i think its on the higher side even though i read a lot of threads here on engine temperature being ok if it hits a 100 but just wanted to confirm.

This is what it was hitting with the A/C on. Is that within normal range?

Mine rides right on 80 all the time. I don't have the A/C connected though so I'm not sure if that changes things.

Well just to give you an idea, i live in Dubai and outside temperature is around 45 degrees Celsius as it is so i need the A/C but maybe thats why its a little on the high side?

I opine that is perfectly fine...

July Alabama afternoon. Ambient temp was just shy of 100F, IIRC... :)

Mine nudges above the 100 line when climbing long, steep hills at slow speeds. Otherwise it usually stays between 90-100.. no A/C.

Doesn't matter what the ambient temps are......that's where my gauge sits as well with an 87C thermostat.
