My w208 230k (asp pulley kit) has started to stall in the mornings or when it has been stopped for some hours. At low speed, when I press the accelerator a little, revs suddenly fall down. This behaviour ends when I press the accelerator firmly, which anyway does not seem a good idea on a cold engine. It only lasts for about half a minute and the engine does no stop, but it looks rather worrying.

Has anybody experienced similar trouble or has any idea that can help?

Sound like your MAS need cleaning. Since you have the 2.3 Kompressor engine, you better off asking this type of question over the r170 forum.
