Hi there

I've a 2006 - 200 CDI which has developed a misfire / stutter around the 1750 rpm mark, I'm not clear whether this would be fuel, air or turbocharge related.

stutter only seems to be in this RPM range under acceleration, can be in any gear

I've used injector cleaner in the fuel and am getting better fuel consumption suggesting the injectors are cleaner / clean but misfire is till there, also changed air filter and fuel filter with no affect.

when on cruise control the revs pulse upwards slightly every couple of seconds.

Does anyone have any ideas on troubleshooting this issue?

Ignition cable?

Had that experience with my Fiesta and I did not immediately send for servicing. Drove about 100kms before calling the AA who diagnose it.
Had to change ignition cable. Unfortunately, that "prolong" misfiring damaged the catalystic converter.

Now awaiting to replace converter. Means more driving time on the wife's B.
