I have a check engine light on and the code it throws is for the "Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor open circut". So I thought it would be wise to buy a new sensor. The problem is I can't find anyone who sells it. Does anyone know where to find one?
Also, is buying a new sensor the best approach?

Thanks

Just call the MB dealer

Online- parts dot com or peachparts dot com or performanceproducts dot com.

There are two MB dealers in Cleveland??

Well there's MB of Bedford and MB of North Olmstead they're about 30 miles apart (at least) and I just might suck it up and go to one.

Thanks, I'll check the wires and the websites, my usual sites don't have it listed

Keep in mind that there are 3 engine temp sensors and are not interchangeable. They are as follows:

temp gauge sensor, aux fan temp sensor and engine ECU temp sensor.
