So I want to get the proper engine belly pan re-fitted to the car and apparently there are two different variations of the part available, and I do not know which one is supposed to be fitted.

As of now, here are the two:
1245241530
1245204124

Can anyone help me figure this one out? Yes it's only a belly pan, but I like things being as they should be.

you talking about the oil pan? guess not, because thats A1030100513 for all M103 engines.

ok, so you're talking about the 'cover, front' which is the fiberglass thing under the engine... yeah, 124.026 (300E2.6) and 124.030 (300E) takes A1245204124 which replaced A1245208823

that other PN is used for models without air conditioning, which would be world market cars, designated 15S (our US cars are 15V)

It is the composite plastic piece I needed, I could not figure out which one was required. I just ordered one with retaining hardware and should have it by mid-month. Another minor piece towards 100% completion.
