I would like to see your engine bay so I can better judge how much more detailing I need to do.

Thanks

If you're feeling unsure of your detailing skills, I'll be selfless and let you detail the engine on my car before you start your own. That should give you a chance to perfect your skills.

Well it's alot easier when the engine is out of the car. Both the engine and bay were pressure washed. I would recommend steam but I didn't have it. This engine and bay is not fully detailed as it is a work in progress, It's just pressure washed. Once the car gets running reasonably well it will all be taken apart for painting.

Here's a filthy one

I would like to clean it up , but dont know where to start!
Oh my.
Start with a good stiff drink, roll up a bat and put some AC DC on.
And then think about it some more.

Maybe you need to step it up to Columbian Marching Powder. You should get better results in 20 minute bursts.

I did spray down the complete engine bay with WD 40 that looked better,,for about a week.

OK, nobby isn't allowed to look under the hood of my car. Cause that could pretty much be a picture of my engine compartment.

Try the WD 40 trick,,,looks good for a while... I like to think that fish oil (WD40) remoisturizes all that brittle plastic.
