Electronic Traction Support?

This warning has been going on for a few days now and I'm getting worried :(. I'm still a newbie to Mercedes and I haven't a clue as to what can be done about this ETS warning sign and I have no Idea what the electronic traction support does:confused:. If anyone out there can give me a heads up as to what needs to be done then I will greatly appreciate it :)

I regret to advise that to get a QUICK and SURE understanding of the body faults, you have to have the car scanned via the 38 pin connector not the OBD.

FYI there are numerous modules and sensors that send and receive traction messages----where do you want start and how will you test them all----spend the money on the diagnostics---then you fix the problem!!!
Good luck

Here is good primer on what traction control does.

In your case start with replacing stop lamp switch. Part number 001 545 01 09 most likely.

I think you car doesn't have any stabilization like ESP or ARS?
The bad stop switch would activate the light after pressing the pedal. Start the car and observe when exactly the light comes on?
