Vacuum leak?? The Brake booster relies on alot of vacuum. If it's leaking, it is foreseeable that it could stall the motor.

well, i would consider putting a new battery in. An old battery can draw more current from the alternator (thus lowering ur idle). Also what is you car idleing at? should be at 600 to 700 rpm i think...im having a simular problem with my 190e
