For those of you who have installed spoilers on your CLK coupes... do you notice any difference in aerodynamic performance? Do any of you know if the various spoliers out there were designed for aerodynamics or just aesthetics.

Most are for aesthetic purposes unless they were designed..

specifically for a purpose like the ones found on the C32 and SLK 32. These actually serve a purpose.<br> <br> I doubt you will see any difference unless you're going really really fast.

The ones that come with the cars...AMG makes them.

we did a project on this at school and it barely starts at speeds in excess of over 90mph...

know i don't know anyone that's driving +90mph all the time

In guessing based on the looks of spoilers I've seen for MB and BMW

The BMW spoilers which are actually used on the track look much different from the MB spoilers. Both of which look different from rice rockets. Email me Sleestack, I can find out for you.

TechB.. is right on that !!! you need to drive at least over 90 mph to notice the different.

My mistake...only the SLK32 has the lip spoiler.
