EC light came on just before I took my 01 c320 in for B service. A/C stopped working when EC light came on. I assumed I needed a refrigerant charge. I took my vehicle to a local import mechanic (with whom I've been very pleased up until this point versus the stealership on the other side of town). My mechanic did the B service and got specification pressure on the refrgerant but the EC light is still on and the A/C is not working. Mech said that the compressor is not turning on. He's not sure why. Anyone know of a reset procedure for EC fault?

Thanks!
