This is my problem. My car battery died and i called Roadside Assistance. The local mb dealer sent out a 20 year old kid to change my battery. Everything had to be reset, but he had to call the dealer to do it. No big deal. He couldn't reset anything but I got it to work except my EC light turned on and would not go off. Now my AC doesn't work and I cannot get my EC light to turn off. My AC worked fine until my battery died. The dealer said bring it in for a FEW Hundred dollar diagnostic!!! Any Ideas?

Find an indy shop. The compressor is not turning on. You should be able to tell him that and avoid much diagnostic work.
